These easy to swap replacement tiles are made from a natural mineral that goes through a process called exfoliation to become our Kasai Tile. Once used, these tiles can be crushed for composting, making them 100% compostable.

How to replace the tiles

• Remove base tile by turning the Kasai Konro upside down and slowly pushing against the brick (please ensure all charcoal has been removed first).
• Once removed, turn the unit back to the upright position and remove the side tiles followed by the end tiles.
• Clean the unit - this is a dishwasher safe product once tiles are removed. Ensure the unit is fully dry before inserting new tiles.
• Install the new end tiles first, then the side tiles before dropping the base tile into position.
