My daughter is obsessed with bento boxes and wants one for school. This one is "esthetic" and she loves the look of it. The only problem, she does not have the finger / hand strength to open the box on her own.The latches are strong. I had no problem opening it, but my 7 year old's hands could not. (the only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 as it states it is good for kids).I ordered several bento boxes and this one was a favorite for size, ease of cleaning, and perceived ability to hold most lunch items (sandwich, chips, and something healthy).Perfect size, beautiful rose color and qualityI thought the boxes would be a lot bigger but they're very small and shallow but they're still good and it's not the seller's fault I should have checked the dimensions better.Wasnt completely leakproof. I had pickles in it and they leaked out, but when i had cheese sauce, and gravy inside they did not leak out, just the pickle juice. Everything else was good. Dishwasher and microwave safe. I carry it with me when i go to restaurants so i have my own sturdy takeout container.this is your sign to buy this bento!!!!!!i love my bento! i use it very often. recently i stacked the top tier with grapes, the second with a apricot and a plum, and the last with strawberries, blackberries, and blueberries! quite the variety. this lunchbox can hold around the same amount as a plastic ham container. ( i know this because i was using a hillshire ham container before purchasing this) i can still fit the same amount! it's so cute and durable. im not sure how it'll go against soup or liquids, but i would find another alternative for that. i usually keep it in an insulated bag, in my car, and it keeps my fruit pretty fresh for a few hours!I love the portions of this. I put meat at the bottom, rice/Carb on the next level and/or fruit and veggie on the third level using the slidable separator. It does come with a fork and spoon you can basically connect together and to a holder so they stay together. My only gripe is that, once you filled up your Bento Box with food, there is no place for the utensils. They are now thrown about in your bag. I have to use a snack zip lock bag and place it on top in the fridge at work. Not a big deal at home but at work I found my utensils in the back of the fridge from being moved around and falling off. MOST travel food containers have a location sunken in on the lid and all you do is lift them out. I think the designers should consider this for their next upgrade. Life is a matter of convenience or they wouldn't have created this great product. There durable very convenient to bring lunch to work or wherever, it says for kids but have plenty of space for adult use
