I through out all of my old tools because we really like these utensils!Great product! I’m surprised at how durable these are. Love the fact that there is a stainless steel resting feature. I would definitely recommend for the kitchen. Losing one star mainly due to mistakenly providing a duplicate ladle. I’m missing a skimmer. I added a photo of what the box should have and as you can see, I have 2 ladles and no skimmer. This set is well made, durable and comes with a variety of tools. One of my favorite kitchen sets. It takes a lot of heat without damage, has a little stopper halfway through to keep the utensil from falling in your pot. They are coated so they will not scratch surfaces. They are easy to clean and I love that they have a variety of styles.I got rid of all my metal utensils since my husband can't act right and tends to scratch up all my pots and pans. These utensils are great and haven't left a single scratch, no matter how hard he tries. This set has pretty much every utensil you'll need, BUT I wish it had a pasta claw.My crock of kitchen tools is filled with a ‘hodge podge’ of different things. I figured it was time to get a nice set of tools. I was familiar with the Meyer name and decided to give this set a try when I saw it.This set of kitchen tools contains everything you pretty to get through any cooking task…two spatulas…two spoons…a ladle….and a ‘drainer’ as I call it.The tools are made of hard silicone which means they won’t get hot if you leave them sitting in a hot pan. I usually like a little more flexibility in my spatulas than these have, the rigidity is nice in the spoons. There nothing worse than a ‘droopy’ spoon or spatula when you’re trying to get something heavy out of a pan.The construction of the tools is decent. I like the fact there are silicone rubber grips on the end of each tool. I’ve have had ones without that get pretty slippery when you’re frying something with a lot of grease in it. The rubber grips will work well for me.The tools are on the ‘light side’ as far as weight goes. But it’s evenly distributed. On a few of my old ones, the handles were considerably heavier than the part that dits in the pan. Hence, they would tip back at times and fall out of the pan. I can’t see that happening here. The Meyer kitchen tools are pretty comfortable to hold and work with which is important to me. When you’re cooking, every little bit helps to make the job easier.I think this set of kitchen tools by Meyer is a keeper for me. I like the construction and design for the most part. But I especially like that all my kitchen tools will match for a change.I have never heard of this brand before, but I was pleasantly surprised with the product that I received. The nylon is extremely sturdy and holds up well during regular use. The handles have a nice grip to them and the entire utensil does not flex when I go to stir sauce, or lift heavy meat in the crockpot. Dishwasher safe, and very reasonably priced, what is there to complain about? 5 stars!Appearance: Really nice and well-made cooking utensils! Very solid construction.Thoughts: Pull these out of the manufacturer's packaging and give them a wash and dry before the first use. The little metal ring in the middle is really, really nice for keeping these from falling down into the pot or pan. Quality made and really nice to use. This is an excellent set. 6/5Overall: Excellent SetThese are nice and have a nice feel to them. They won't harm pans and look like they will last for a good long while. They would make a nice housewarming gift for someone just staring out on their own. I recommend these.
