A little expensive, but they are heavy and well made. No risk of bent tines or a bent spoon. Much better bariatric tools than toddler silverware which are shorter handled but with much larger eating surfaces. You will still need a real steak knife because this knife only cuts the most tender or thin meats. I keep buying more sets because I hate washing them so often, hence my aversion to their cost. They have held up perfectly and now seem like what a normal flatware size should be. Compared to regular forks etc. they are tiny, but you learn you really don't need to, and shouldn't, shove that much food in your mouth at once. They help you to eat slower and more mindfully. Absolutely recommend. I also agree with others, get rid of the DIET TOOLS lettering on the silverware, very obvious and tacky.Son tan lindos los cubiertosIdeal para cuando tienes una cirugíaBariatricaBought for myself when I had gastric sleeve surgery. Works well since you can't take big bites of food.I am about to get a gastric sleeve, so I wanted to find small utinsrls that didn’t look like baby stuff. These are longer than toddler silverware, but have small bites. Like the other reviews, I don’t like the words DIET TOOLS as well as the printed fork, spoon & knife on them. I know what they are. I wanted adult looking silverware to look more “normal”, but the huge DIET TOOLs gives it away. I’m going to try to take steel wool to get rid of the words. I’ll provide an update. These were the best I can find. 5 star product, but giving it 4 starts bc the wording dumbs them down. Dang it!These are perfect in every way - except the excessive branding on the product. I know where I bought them. I know who made them. Of somehow I forgot, the storage pouch screams it at me. But what really makes these tacky and sort of ruins an otherwise spectacular product is the plastering of DIET TOOLS on the utensils. Most people eating with these want to blend in, and I personally cannot name any other silverware with braining like these. Not even toddlerware.Outside of that these fit adult hands well. They have a great weight to them. They are smooth and don't hurt my mouth when I use them. If it weren't for the advertising on the handles I would say you could set the table and slip these in your spot without drawing attention, or take them out to restaurants and use your own. But as they currently stand, you'd be welcoming unwanted questions about your diet. One last thought. It costs extra money to custom brand items. Taking that branding off will save the company money, and maybe customers too!Love this works well my gastric sleeveThese are so sturdy and weighted properly for adult hands. OMG....I didn't notice they say "diet tools". Come on...why else would an adult be using such under sized silverware. I ate my way into this and I plan to eat my way out of it. Buy them...you won't be sorry.I love the comfort of these utensils. I really don't think that the words etched in them are necessary. I almost didn't buy them because of it. I think the wording is condescending and rude. It's embarrassing for other people to see it, but I like the silverware when I'm alone. My set arrived with only the spoon which wasn't much good and the seller hasn't had anymore in stock since which is disappointing. The spoon itself though was a good size and finish.
